Amie Haakenson has been producing shows, events and weddings for 17 years.  She has designed sound for shows and run sound equipment for numerous social events.  Amie has been involved with every aspect of production; writing, acting, producing, directing, technical crew, technical design, choreography, promotion, you name it.  Her wedding work is the most rewarding.  She finds satisfaction in creating unique events for this most special time in a bride and groom’s life.

Amie is married to her Prince Charming and they are living happily ever after with their three children.

In 2006, she was invited and appeared as the resident wedding expert on a statewide wedding television show.

Amie has worked in the trenches with Five Star Entertainment, Anderson’s Bride, LIPSPhoto & Apogee Studios.  She has hands on knowledge of all the vital services you need on your wedding day.  Her experience will guide you seamlessly from planning to execution.

Amie is the lead director at Your Event Planner.  She also serves as the President to the Anchorage Chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives, is the Leader to Brownie Girl Scout Troop 648 and is the Registrar to the Elmendorf Girl Scout Service Unit.
